Bricelets 1570 is a family business. The tradition of Bricelet-making started in this family four generations ago, from a passionate french-swiss family leader who transmitted her love for heartful homemade food. Risking their lives for a brighter future, they decided to settle in the southern hemisphere of the world, carefully choosing what would travel by boat with them. Among their belongings, a heavy iron cast Bricelet press made it to the boat. Having to use firewood back then, producing the Bricelets meant several hours of work, therefore being something particularly special and part of all important family gatherings.
Modern times came and along an electric press, the production-process became faster and the cookies became more popular among family friends. In 2017 one of the granddaughters of the settlers and her daughter decided to share this family tradition with the world, they started experimenting savory flavors, keeping the sweet recipe as the original. The corporate identity reflects a mix of tradition and modernity. Represented by a Garalde old-style typography and a monoline illustration inspired by the patterns that the press leaves on the cookies.
