a bit about

My Story

My name is Camila Peralta. I am a problem solver, a perfectionist, an avid student of life and a teacher whenever possible. I am a designer, a builder, a photographer, and a music enthusiast. I was fortunate to grow up in Chile, a beautiful terrace between the Andes and the Pacific ocean. There, I started my career in Fashion Design. I was granted with an excellence scholarship and graduated at the top of my class. During my studies, I started working as a teacher assistant for the classes “Textile Processes”, “Design Studio” and “Illustration”. After graduation, I became the lead designer for the brands Mossimo and Second Image in Falabella, the biggest retailer in Southamerica.

During my three years as fashion designer, my attention shifted to the world of graphic design as well as branding. I moved to Berlin to study Visual Communication at the UDK, where I specialised in information design with Prof. David Skopec, and learned to explore new forms of visualisation through methodical research. The visualisation of ideas and processes, the implementation of concepts, and the detailed development of projects are my passion and I think that Back to the Future is one of the greatest achievements of mankind.

I have worked with

“Roads? Where we’re going,
we don’t need roads.”
